Sweet adoptable Kim 19 kg and Chloe 22 kg were found tied to the gates of the Acopio shelter in Puerto Vallarta, pretty much starving. It’s been discovered the people that had them left them alone on a roof top abandoned day after day. They are 11 month old fixed female Doberman cross. They are still puppies. They are very sweet and get along with all dogs. They will need training and patience as they are still young and everything is new to them. If they could be adopted together that would be fabulous! To inquiry and or meet these beautiful pups connect with Debra Barsalou with Dog For Life on Facebook or at [email protected]
We are currently working with some wonderful peeps in British Columbia who may take these two sweet sisters…thank you/gracias
A bit of background about Dog For Life…We are a very small non-profit rescue group made up of people who love and have a passion for helping dogs and who work and live in Puerto Vallarta and Victoria as well as other parts of Canada and the USA. Dog For Life differs from other, larger rescue groups in that we personally work with each dog in Mexico and are part of their entire journey from the shelter to a foster home in Puerto Vallarta to their “furever” homes in Canada. We take great care in ensuring they are healthy and well and placed in the best possible homes. Our usual process is to have you fill out an application form, we review and then if warranted someone from our team would meet you and do a home check to ensure the inside and outside environments are safe and suitable for the dog. Then if all checks out and the dog is the right fit for you and you are right for the dog, we have the applicant do a one week foster to adopt. To adopt one of our dogs is $450 – this fee helps to cover some of the costs to get the dogs well – spay/neutered, vaccinations, vet care and ready to travel.
